Summary
YakimaValley.net is an online resource we provide to our local clients and community. As an active part of the Yakima Valley in Washington state, we decided to contribute a high-impact online guide to the Valley. By applying the same techniques we use on commercial web sites, we set up a portal containing local news, attractions, events, and business listings throughout the region. Site visitors can quickly browse through the listings using a drop-down menu system, and user interaction is welcomed. In addition to the information already posted on the site, visitors can submit free and paid listings to the web site using our own portal management system.
